WELCOME TO FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH TROY

Thank you for taking time to visit our website and find out more about FBC Troy. If you are looking for a place to connect with God and with people growing in faith and discipleship, who come together to encourage and support each other through the real struggles of life, we hope you will find your home here with us.

FBC Family,

I'm excited to share with you an upcoming opportunity to enjoy fellowship as a church family as well as reach out and make connections with our community. On October 30th, from 4pm to 7pm, we will hold a "Trunk or Treat" in the church parking lot for any and all who would like to attend. We'll have free food, bounce house, and a campfire that night too.

Our goal is to take advantage of the likelihood that our community will be looking for this kind of event and share with them that we love them, and want them to know Jesus. Here are some important things you need to know.

1. We need everyone's help! The more participants we have the better! Come up with a design for your car and come ready to show it off! We will have prizes for the best decorated entry. Our theme is "Family Games". Trunk decorations should represent your favorite game. Our goal is to keep this "light". If you would like to run a game for those who visit your car please do so! That would make it a lot of fun! We are asking everyone to bring their favorite candy to pass out to guests. The church will have supplement candies for people if they run out. We will also have welcome packets for guests with information about the church.

Please click https://fbctroy.breezechms.com/form/ee533d and let us know if you can make it. Be sure to let us know what game you decide to go with!

2. Help spread the word! - We will have business card sized invites for you to share with people and yard signs too! If you'd like to have a yard sign please contact the office. Invite your friends, family, and neighborhood! Share our Facebook event too!

3. Make this a family event! - If you have kids at home, get them involved! If not, team up with a friend from church and collaborate. Invite your neighbors to help you out! We want as many people that want to help to be able to. This is a really good way to get to know others in the church too.

Recently, at our church picnic we enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship and togetherness. Let's keep that going! I can't wait to see what people come up with! Even more than that, I can't wait to share this time together. We need more of that don't we?

Thanks everyone!
